Introducing MPX GORE-TEX Pro Offshore 2.0 and Race 2.0. Next generation waterproof clothing with significant upgrades throughout – from enhanced chemical compounds through to top-loading collars.

The main fabric used for both ranges is engineered with the latest Gore-Tex Pro membrane. With the Guaranteed To keep You Dry™ promise and world-leading breathable properties, these Gore-Tex products must pass stringent tests before they are even allowed to leave the factory. The outer layer protecting the new membrane contains recycled fibres, while the smooth inner layer is solution dyed, reducing the amount of water, chemicals and energy needed in the fabric manufacturing process.

THE OVERACHIEVER

Extensively tested and put through its paces by Sam Davies during the 2020/21 Vendee Globe, the MPX Offshore 2.0 Collection has undergone some serious upgrades, making this range of kit perfect for any on-water activity, from rough RIB rides, to challenging Channel crossings and Round The World races. Enhancements include:

-  A new adjustment design at the trousers’ shoulder straps, replacing the hard plastic buckle for low profile hook and loop, for added comfort when worn with layers and a closer fit for active manoeuvres onboard.

-  A new top-loading hood design that improves comfort around the neck when wearing a lifejacket and makes the deployment of the hood much easier.

-  New photoluminescent reflectors sit across the shoulders and end of the sleeves to attract more attention in low light.

-  Re-designed cargo pockets on both the jacket and trouser making it easier to access and grab what you need.

Further refinement has been made across the fit, adjustment and styling. MPX Offshore 2.0 will be with you for years of action, adventures and activities.

THE COMPETITIVE ONE

This sleek design is enhanced to suit a wide range of racing conditions from inshore to offshore and back again. Development in this comprehensive range from Sam Goodchild, among many others, has resulted in outstanding defining features, including:

-  The dynamic dual collar system used in the Race Smock 2.0 and Race Jacket 2.0 is designed to give you full mobility and field of vision but also protect you from wind and water.

-   Single layer PU coated cuffs with enclosed elasticated adjusters for a low profile and secure fit with ultimate protection.

-  The Race Smock 2.0 has a wide central pocket, large enough for a touchscreen and case, which makes it ideal for navigators.

The result of all these improvements is a waterproof product perfect for racing year-round, along coastlines and laylines, on transits and even transats!
